WALL COLLAR SYSTEM SEALING JOINTS

Area of use

The Wall Collar system sealing joint is used for tight tubular ducts that pass through aprons or walls.
The sealing joint is pressure-tight up to 8 bar and approved by the TÜV; it prevents outer-wall moisture from infiltrating the pipe.

Characteristics

The Wall Collar system sealing joint comes with two special steel strips. The circular collar provided with additional water blockers prevents liquids from infiltrating the shell.
Where the sealing joint is applied to the pipe, and after tightening the special steel strips, small water blockers seal for a water column up to 50 m'.

Assembly possibilities 

The Wall Collar system sealing joint can be applied to almost all pipes. Whether you choose to use pipes in plastic, stone, cast iron or steel, the seal will be reliable. The seal is available from Ø 25 mm to Ø 1'200 mm.

(Tip: Sealing joints are easier to install by soaking them for 10 minutes in hot water.)
On request, Canplast can install the seal directly on the parts in its manufacture workshops(whether it is a (canadian well, inspection chamber, etc...)

Assembly procedure

  • Clean the pipe surface in case of clogging
  • Slide the collar and fix it in the middle of the concrete or in the middle of the shell
  • Tighten the clamping bands
